00 / The opportunity
Our client is a national general contractor delivering a 300+ MW data center campus outside Columbus. The project includes an onsite substation, medium-voltage distribution and multiple data halls built in phases.
You'll lead the electrical scope on site and report to the Project Executive.
01 / What you’ll do
- Manage electrical subcontractors, schedules and budgets across multiple buildings
- Coordinate utility, substation and medium-voltage work with owner and utility teams
- Drive safety, quality and installation standards on site
- Review submittals, RFIs and change orders
- Lead the transition from construction into integrated systems testing and commissioning
- Report progress and risk to the owner and project leadership
02 / What you bring
- 10+ years of electrical construction experience
- Mission-critical, data center or utility-scale project experience
- Strong subcontractor and schedule management skills
- Working knowledge of medium-voltage systems and NFPA 70E
- OSHA 30 certification
03 / Nice to have
- Journeyman or master electrician background
- Experience with phased, multi-building campus delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or electrical engineering
